Privacy policy
Short version: Home Renovation Calcs calculates entirely in your browser, and none of it is ever sent to us. We run advertising, and that is the only part of this site that involves third-party data. Everything below is the detail.
What we do not collect
We have no server that receives your content. There is no account system, no login, no database, and no upload endpoint. The files, text and measurements you work with are processed by JavaScript running on your own device and are discarded the moment you close the tab.
This is a consequence of how the site is built rather than a promise we are asking you to take on trust: the site is static files served from a CDN, so there is nowhere for your content to go even if we wanted it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the advertising and analytics providers named below.
Advertising
This site is paid for by advertising. We use Google AdSense, and third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site and use their own cookies.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can change that choice at any time using the button at the end of this page.
Exchange rates
If you switch currency in the build plan, your browser fetches the day’s exchange rates from open.er-api.com. That request contains no information about you or your plan — it asks only for the rate table, which is then cached in your browser for twelve hours.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track people across sites. It records the page requested, the referring site, and coarse information such as country and browser type.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes requests to this site and retains standard technical logs, which include IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. We do not have access to an identifiable log of what you personally did on the site.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data ourselves, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on request. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, use the Google links above, which are the effective route to access, deletion and opt-out.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, California or another region with specific privacy rights and you believe we hold data about you, write to us at the address below and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
